SPORTS COACH
Gurnard Primary School is a successful two-form entry primary school set in a stunning coastal location and graded Outstanding in three areas by Ofsted in February 2025. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Sports Coach with a strong commitment to inspiring children to enjoy sport.
The successful candidate will need to have:
- The ability to plan and deliver high quality sessions to children from Reception to Year 6
- The ability to organise sports fixtures and lead after school sports clubs
- experience of working with children
- the ability to work well in a team

This position is fixed term for one year in the first instance. The starting date is 1st September 2025

LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANTS
Salary: Grade 3. Actual salary £16,369–£16,541 (FTE £24,404-£24,660)
Hours: 28.75 hours a week - 8.30am-3:00pm each day. Term time only.
Starting Date: 1st September 2025. Fixed term for one year in the first instance.
We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and highly motivated Learning Support Assistants to join our team. The successful candidates will work closely with our experienced teachers to provide high quality teaching and learning provision.

- good English, maths, ICT and communication skills (English and maths at Grade C equivalent or above)
- the ability to work well in a team
- a positive, flexible, ‘can do’ attitude

SEN LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANTS
Salary: Hay Scale 5A Actual salary £17,160 - £17,435 (Full time equivalent £25,583 - £25,992)
Hours: 28.75 hours per week, 8.30am - 3.00pm term-time only (15-minute morning break and 30-minute lunch break)
Starting Date: 1st September 2025. Fixed term posts linked to pupils with an EHCP.
We are looking to appoint experienced and skilled SEN Learning Support Assistants to support specific pupils within the school. The role will involve providing 1:1 support although you may also be required to provide general support in class.
The successful candidates will need to have:
- experience of working with children
- a caring and patient nature
- good English, maths, ICT and communication skills (English and maths at Grade C equivalent or above)
- the ability to work well in a team
- a positive, flexible, ‘can do’ attitude
